In this meeting, joint reports were presented regarding the academic conference to be held by the Open University of Yazd and the University of Kufa. It was agreed upon by the attendees that the international articles would be sent via the Open University of Yazd’s system and link to the conference. Iranian attendees of the University of Kufa conference would need to, after approval from the Secretariat, send their relevant documents for approval by the Ministry of Education to the University of Kufa. In addition, it was also agreed that accommodation for non-Iraqi guests and attendees would be provided by the At’bah Alawiyah and that at a stipulated time, the University of Kufa will announce and create and distribute a poster for the call of papers.
Some of the activities that the University of Kufa will undertake for the joint conference between the two universities:
- Informing the faculty of jurisprudence, as well as other faculties of the University of Kufa and other academic institutions regarding the conference
- Coordination concerning ten articles.
- Publishing the articles in the academic journals attached to the University.
- Holding introductory academic workshops.
- Forming a committee to research to validate the attribution of the book Hashiyah bar Ishad Azhan to Mulla Abdullah. The opinion of two scholars is as follows:
- Shaykh Mahdi Ka’bi: From analysis of the manuscript from the Hakim Library, I have not reached certainty on whether or not it is attributed to Mulla Abdullah.
- Shaykh Dr. Muhammad Na’ili: After analyzing the manuscript from the Hakim Library, I can say that it conforms 70 % with the text that was published by the I have also looked at a manuscript that is with the At’bah Husayni, and can say that, around 70%, it can be attributed to Mulla Abdullah.
- In this regard, Dr. al-Khasani commented, ‘A committee has been formed with this intention, and God-willing, the results of their research will be published soon.’
- Proving bursaries for bachelors, and in the future, Postdoctoral researcher to individuals selected by the Secretariat of the Allahmah Behabadi Yazdi International Conference.
