⭕️During this meeting, the academic secretary of the conference, Dr. Abdipur, thanked Ayatullah Jahrumi for his time. He then, in introducing Allahmah Behabadi, made reference to the words of Sayyid Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Republic, that were made concerning Allahmah during his visit to the Yazd Province. And, in recalling the academic dimensions and student development of Allahmah Mulla Abdullah Behabadi, said, ‘The book, Hashiyah Mantiq, of Mulla Abdullah Behabadi is a rare gem within the corpus of Shia literature. It is a book that is even taught in Sunni Islamic seminaries.’

🔹Dr. Abdipur then made mention of Allahmah Bebahadi’s wise governance while he was the governor of Najaf al-Ashraf and his establishment of the Guardianship of the Jurist (Wilayah al-Faqih). A report of the activities of the secretariat was then presented to Ayatullah Jahrumi.  

🔸After the presentation of their activities by the secretariat, Ayatullah Jahrumi thanked them and displayed his happiness at their efforts for reviving the works and introducing the academic personality of Allahmah Behabadi. He then said, ‘After all these years, I still enjoy reading the Hashiyah of Mulla Abdullah Behabadi.’   

🔹Ayatullah Jahrumi, after quoting the prophetic tradition, ‘The mercy of Allah descends whenever one of His righteous servants are mentioned,’ said, ‘As per this tradition and your efforts in introducing this great personality, God-willing, the mercy of Allah will surround you in this world and the next.’

🔸He then continued in alluding to the personality of Grand Ayatullah Shaykh Abdul Karim Hairi and other great scholars of Yazd, saying, ‘That city was a great source of good and blessings. It gave many great personalities to society, each leaving their spiritual and ethical marks on the people.’

🔹Ayatullah Jahrumi then added, ‘Having students, such as Shaykh Bahai and the authors of Maalim and Madarik, or being the classmate of Muqaddis Ardabili, shows the greatness of his personality. It also conveys the high academic prowess that this dignitary of Yazd held. The reviving of his personality, identifying his works and making apparent his academic status with result in the descending of Allah’s mercy. The conference in his honor, is one of knowledge and virtue and it is hoped it makes society aware of his esteemed personality.’   

🔸Addressing the members of the secretariat, he said, ‘One of the problems of our society is that sometimes even after centuries these great scholars remain unknown and no gratitude is shown to them. It is such that even during their own eras, these scholars and great personalities do not have individuals, who themselves must be scholars and men of knowledge, to sincerely honor them in an appropriate manner. So, Allah has ordained that during its proper time, those who are worthy will accept this responsibility and, God-willing you are of these people, will perform this great task.’
